From the outside, this nightclub is unassuming, but Fish Bowl boasts the ability to host live music and DJ's, as well as private parties in their back room fittingly called Atlantis.  If you're looking for a beach home away from the beach, this is the place to find it.  The interior of Fish Bowl is blue, and beach-themed murals on the wall almost make you want to grab your boogie board and bathing suit.  Visit them on Thursdays to take part in RVA Beer Pong; you might even see a few of the Flying Squirrels here from time to time, as they hold events here too!

Gus’ Bar and Grill is located near The Fan on Broad and Mulberry streets.  With both traditional and non-traditional bar food and the option to play cornhole, this is a bar that’s far different from the typical hang outs around Richmond.  Sit at the bar and watch one of the many flat-screen TV’s or sit in a booth and watch your own personal TV!  Owner Josie Flemotomos follows her father’s belief that every customer should be treated like a friend and her staff works very hard to uphold that belief as well.  Visit once, and you’re a friend and fan forever!

Located in the old Six Burners building, Heritage is a wonderful coming together of a small Scandinavian family that shares a love for food and hospitality.  They welcome everyone into their restaurant as family.  With the help of their chef, they have classes on cleaning fish, carving a whole pig, along with some other cooking essentials.  As Mattias put it, they "make people happy through good food, solid drinks, and hospitality."

Located in a small neighborhood off Lakeside Avenue, Hermitage Grill is not a place you'd expect to find good food and drinks, though they boast both.  Hermitage is small in size, but large in personality!  The food is Southern and the people, both staff and regulars, are friendly and quick with a smile.  Keep coming back and you'll be bumping elbows with the regulars before you know it!
