Bandito’s is Richmond’s place for Mexi-Cali cuisine. A mixture of traditional Mexican food with a fresher, healthier, more inventive approach inspired by Southern California style Mexican fare. Sean McClain ( Owner/Operator ) first opened Bandito’s in March of 1997 on the corner of Cary and Laurel Streets. The location later found it’s current home at 2905 Patterson Ave. ( Richmond’s Museum District.) in 2002. Through the years McClain was partnered w/ three other fellows at different times, but since 2009, he has been the sole owner. Bandito’s enjoyed popularity right out of the gates with there being very limited Mexican food options back in ’97. Over time the establishment has found a unique niche. It’s mainstay has always been really good, creative, consistent food and good service, but there’s a lot more going on here.  For instance Bandito’s has become a faithful destination for watching sporting events ( especially NFL football ), with eighteen TVs hanging all around the place. The Fan district’s biggest dance floor has made the place a popular dance night spot Thursdays thru Saturdays for years. Live music is also a very important part of what’s going on. Sunday nights are devoted to bringing high quality, original bands from all over to play for a musically savvy crowd that inhabits this night. Mostly Punk Rock, Rock-a-billy and other off beat acts are chosen to play due to McClain’s personal experience w/ those genres. And yes, there is even a karaoke night every Wednesday for those who aspire to take the mic and cut loose. So… Basically Bandito’s is a place where there is something for everyone. A real public house. A true Richmond original who competes with no one, as it sets it’s own tone. A growing institution who’s just starting to hit it’s stride and will be here for years to come.

Bank Restaurant is located in historic Richmond’s downtown financial district. The building was once home to the American Trust Company in the early part of the 20th century. BlackFinn History

BlackFinn Restaurant & Saloon was established in New York City in 1994.  As part of their lives growing up in New York City, the proprietors were exposed to many of the world’s greatest saloons.

When the time was right they decided to act on their vision for the great American saloon, and thus, BlackFinn was born.  Over the years the proprietors have developed numerous venues and concepts.  They recently made the strategic decision to focus on evolving the traditions of the New York Style Saloon.  The product of that focus has been making BlackFinn the new standard in the New York Style Saloon experience.

The Camel opens Daily at 5pm and is a space for music, art, poetry, video, political forums, and conversation-anything that brings people together in the spirit of a free flow of ideas. We offer meeting space for corporate events, holiday parties, and wedding receptions.

The Canal Club is a two floor venue located in the historic river district in downtown Richmond, Va. The building sits at the corner of 17th Street and Cary Street directly across the street from the restored Kanawa Canal and The Canal Walk. The main entrance is on 17th Street near the corner with Cary Street. The Canal Club features national, regional and local acts on a weekly basis. Shows are all ages unless noted.

The upstairs is our big room and features national acts. The downstairs is a smaller 450 capacity room. It offers a more intimate setting with seating in the back and standing up front. Full food and bar are available on both floors.
