Balliceaux is a full service restaurant with a seeting capacity of 113 divided between 2 dining rooms with each rooom seating appoximately 50.  Most private events will take place in the Backroom.

Bandito’s is Richmond’s place for Mexi-Cali cuisine. A mixture of traditional Mexican food with a fresher, healthier, more inventive approach inspired by Southern California style Mexican fare. Sean McClain ( Owner/Operator ) first opened Bandito’s in March of 1997 on the corner of Cary and Laurel Streets. The location later found it’s current home at 2905 Patterson Ave. ( Richmond’s Museum District.) in 2002. Through the years McClain was partnered w/ three other fellows at different times, but since 2009, he has been the sole owner. Bandito’s enjoyed popularity right out of the gates with there being very limited Mexican food options back in ’97. Over time the establishment has found a unique niche. It’s mainstay has always been really good, creative, consistent food and good service, but there’s a lot more going on here.  For instance Bandito’s has become a faithful destination for watching sporting events ( especially NFL football ), with eighteen TVs hanging all around the place. The Fan district’s biggest dance floor has made the place a popular dance night spot Thursdays thru Saturdays for years. Live music is also a very important part of what’s going on. Sunday nights are devoted to bringing high quality, original bands from all over to play for a musically savvy crowd that inhabits this night. Mostly Punk Rock, Rock-a-billy and other off beat acts are chosen to play due to McClain’s personal experience w/ those genres. And yes, there is even a karaoke night every Wednesday for those who aspire to take the mic and cut loose. So… Basically Bandito’s is a place where there is something for everyone. A real public house. A true Richmond original who competes with no one, as it sets it’s own tone. A growing institution who’s just starting to hit it’s stride and will be here for years to come.

The Conch Republic was established by secession of the Florida Keys from the United States on April 23, 1982. At the time, citizens of the Keys were up in arms about a U.S. Border Patrol blockade set up on Highway U.S. 1, the only road to and from the mainland from the Keys. When protests of the blockade were unsuccessful, Key West Mayor Dennis Wardlow proclaimed secession from the U.S. and named the Conch Republic an independent nation by breaking a loaf of stale Cuban bread over the head of man dressed in a U.S. Navy uniform. After one minute of rebellion, the now Prime Minister Wardlow surrendered to Union forces and demanded $1 billion in foreign aid and war relief for the Conch Republic. Since the secession, residents of the Keys proudly consider themselves dual citizens, at once both American and Conch.

Conch Republic Rockett’s is the newest venture for Bob Cox, owner of Metro Grill and Curbside. Bob has over fourteen years of experience owning and managing restaurants. Bob’s goal with Conch Republic Rockett’s was to bring a new and exciting dining experience to Richmond. The 6,000-square-foot restaurant sits along the James River in Rocketts Landing and boasts one of the most amazing views of the river in all of Richmond.
